Local capture setup and help
What GameLink does
GameLink mirrors a phone screen and compatible game audio to a local GameLink Receiver window on your computer. Use OBS Window Capture and Application Audio Capture when you want to add it to a production.
Android on Mac
Install the Android sender and the macOS receiver, use a data-capable USB cable, open the receiver, then start sharing on the phone. The Mac receiver uses GameLink's USB accessory route and does not require Android USB debugging.
Android on Windows
Install the Android sender and Windows receiver, connect a data-capable USB cable, unlock the phone, allow USB debugging, and let the receiver configure the local Android Platform Tools route. Windows may ask you to allow the receiver through the firewall on a private network; this is needed only for the local receiver connection.
iPhone on Mac
Use the iPhone sender's Broadcast control while the phone is connected by USB. Keep the phone unlocked and wait up to 20 seconds for the initial local connection. If the status does not change after that, stop broadcasting, reconnect the cable, restart the receiver, and start the broadcast again.
Safety and privacy
Only capture devices and content you are authorised to use. GameLink sends the active capture locally; it does not upload capture streams to GameLink servers. Read the Privacy Policy for the complete explanation.
Known direct-download limitation
The current free desktop ZIP downloads are not yet Apple-notarized or Microsoft Store/trusted-signed public releases. Your operating system may show a security warning for a new download. Download only from this website, verify you intended to open GameLink Receiver, and do not bypass an operating-system warning if the file came from another source.
